I'm happy to recommend this tale to paranormal fans. A well drawn cast of characters whose motives and intents conflict show us the possibilities and limitations of being psychic and the problems they face in social acceptance. Enjoy. I sure did.

Amsden has a great grasp of Point of View. You can always tell who you are reading at a given time as they each try to figure out the situation they are in.

It lives up to the title Paranormal Thiller.

I recommend it.
I really enjoyed this book. I sat down to read a few pages & couldn't stop reading it. The author did a great job making the characters "real." I found myself wondering about them during the day when I wasn't reading it -- wondering what they are doing now, etc. After finishing the book, I did the same thing & was hoping for more books from the author. It's a thought provoking book & I definitely recommend it.
I love reading although I have not given a review before I thought I should with this one. The author did what I look for in a book I was interested and the story moved along at a wonderful pace. I enjoyed the story line and would highly recomend this book to any age group. I also am looking forward to more books by this author.
Marianne has always been able to predict the future through a series of signs and feelings. However, as she learned the hard way, she is powerless to change the future. After her gift/curse has cost her a marriage, Marianne moves across country with her daughter to start over. She is quickly drawn to a group of women who share her ability. Suddenly she feels welcome and appreciated, and then one of her new friends is murdered.

I found this book a bit hard to get into. The characters seemed a bit one dimensional. The plot was a bit slow and kept repeating the same themes over and over. Overall, I think this book was a bust.
