My son can't get enough of Thomas lately. These stories are definitely some of his favorites, and we read some of these to him every night. There are other compilations with more Thomas stories, but this one has served us well for quite some time, and contains most of our son's favorite stories, in a much more manageable size. The illustrations are done with models, like the older TV shows, and are printed very colorfully. If your child loves Thomas, you can't go too wrong with this one.

There is never too much Thomas the Train.
We checked this book out of the library for my 2 1/2 year old. He loves it so much we had to buy it. There are many stories involving many many engines, so this is a great value for the money.
my son started watching the old videos of thomas the train that were handed down to us by a family member. he became hooked, the stories are very interesting. a friend of mine had this book and when i read it was pleasantly surprised that its just like the stories in the series "word for word". any way i went ahead and purchased this item here online and recieved the book shortly the book was in great condition..brand new. i and my son enjoy reading these stories together.
If I were to write this review based on my personal opinion of the book, I would give it fewer stars. The stories are poorly written. The pictures are grainy and often don't enhance the narration. However, my 2 year old son LOVES this book. If he were to write the review it would receive 5 stars. He wants to read it every night before bed, pours over the pictures on his own, and includes stories from the book in his own imaginative play with his trains. I don't understand the appeal -but it is there! If you have little train lover in your house, get this book.

I bought this to replace a copy that got worn out due to excessive use by both my kids, so that should tell you how much they love it. These stories were adapted from early episodes of the TV series, complete with photos.
My grandson just got this book , had Thomas ABC book, loves Thomas and Friends, my dauther tells him night,night, takes the book to. bed and reads his self to sleep!
